DSR 11, the last of the Series that can remotely be called an intermediate ride, fast approaches. Eleven will follow the same general line as DSR 10, on slightly more challenging trails. You’ve been building the skills; this ride will ask you to use them.
Meantime, morning coffee-laden roll call at BMWoVC will be just as relaxed and enjoyable as ever, and once again we have lunch at the Screaming Squirrel to look forward to. Expect some twisty obstacle-strewn single-track. Expect some chaparral. Expect some pine forest. Expect some fast, fast dirt with roller coaster water bars. Expect broad sand-scapes that challenge your line selection and concentration.
If that sounds like a big bite to chew on, consider coming along for the fun and camaraderie, and skipping the most grueling sections. Contact the Ride Leader about mapped out go-arounds for the most grueling sections. This is the last ride of the DSR series for which these will be provided, but fear not: The Series will restart soon, and in the meantime there will be SkilzDrills and Two-up rides aplenty.
DSR 11 will be limited to 12 riders. Contact Laine to secure a space.
