If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to tap more of the potential of that awesome GS whiling away the winter in your garage, now is the time. These bikes are like the postal service: Neither rain, nor sleet nor snow…
Dual Sport SkilzDrills provide excellent opportunities for new riders to test the waters: Comparatively short rides on easier terrain, the DSS rides are designed specifically to help dual sport riders build valuable basic handling skills. This time we will begin on pavement, practicing counterbalancing body position for cornering on any surface. Once we leave the tarmac we will work on basic standing position, slow steering drills, various braking drills, and whatever more we have time for. If you would like to sign on for this ride, email / call ride leader Laine MacTague. Group size is limited to 10 riders, and we will need to secure access permits, so make contact ASAP.
