DS RIDE 04: INTRODUCTION

The adventure continues – unless we get rained out of the Angeles National Forest – with this, the fourth ride of the series. This ride is slightly more challenging than Ride 03*. However, challenging sections can be circumnavigated on pavement: Riders new to the off-pavement aspect of dual sport riding who wish to join in the ride can easily ride around intimidating sections of trail and meet the group again further along.

As with DSR01, you will need time to acquire a permit for this ride! The permit is free and simple to get. However, due to the lag time involved, it is important to start the process early: If you would like to sign on for this ride, contact ride leader Laine MacTague as soon as possible.


* On average – for those of you who joined us on DSR03: Except for a very short optional section of this ride, there is nothing on this ride as challenging as the sandy sections we road.
